The current 30×30 framework preserves land but neglects the people and underlying climate threats:

• Water scarcity
• Aquifer depletion

Address the issues facing rural communities, and you better serve the intent of 30/30 

The APA represents a better 30/30 solution:

Regenerative stewardship that: 

• Restores working landscapes
• Improves water and soil
• Rejuvenates self-sustaining communities in perpetuity 

The Central Valley is the heartbeat of California, 

The health of the entire state depends on the health of the creatures and people of this region . . .

If Central Valley fails, California fails

Neglecting the land threatens the survival of historic communities like Allensworth

Without immediate intervention to limit outside influence and halt water exploitation, the Central Valley will cease to be California's breadbasket, and farming will be lost forever

If we don't get his under control we will have climate refugees

The only viable way to protect the water and soil is to empower residents to take control and implement solutions that mimic mother nature (we call it regenerative agriculture)

To deliver on 30 x 30's promise to address climate change, we need to do more than just lock up land 

APA’s agricultural model prioritizes soil health and community well-being. 

We need nature based regenerative solutions that restore the land and our communities

Restoring the land’s viability, will allow local communities to reinvest in themselves while providing a sustainable "breadbasket" for the entire state

Investing in community-led models, we can stop the destruction and build back historic towns like Allensworth and all of the Central Valley
